These two pics of the Lilly is in my flower bed out back. Not sure what kind of Lilly it is. I've never seen one this color. Anybody know what it is called?
This is BB. She is one of Lori's horses. I've been out to her house a lot lately, taking pics of the horses. She has a new colt named Herbie (Herbert's Final Wonder). I will have to sort through and find a really good picture of him and post on the next post.
This is Cat. She is also one of Lori's horses. If I'm not mistaken, she is BB's mother. Lori, correct me if I'm wrong on this!
This is a project I worked on a couple of days ago. My Aunt Pat gave me the old window about 3 months or so ago, then my computer was down for so long, so I couldn't print any of the pictures that I wanted to use. The top left is the old WWII German prisoner work farm, the round barn is in Jay County on State Road 1, just south of State Road 26, middle left, I am told, is part of the Purdue farm, in Upland(Grant County), middle right is nestled in the middle of a woods on County Road 200 North, just a little more than 3 miles East, bottom left is on County Road 100 West about 2 1/2 miles south and the last is County Road 200 South a couple miles East. The window has all the original glass, except for the bottom right pane. I had to use a glass from a picture frame. I hope to be able to get more of these windows to do more of these projects. I do have a larger one in the garage that is for a storm door, with 8 or 10 panes, but an odd size glass and 2 of those panes are broken.
I got this shot of a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird this evening after dinner. I was just sitting in a lawn chair in the back yard and being very still.
This is a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird that I took earlier today. She is all fluffed up because I just caught her as she was ruffling her feathers. She is sitting in my cherry tree. I love watching these little guys!
This is a juvenile robin that I got early this afternoon, also sitting in my cherry tree. Mama wasn't too far away. She kept watching me, but I think she knew I wasn't going to hurt her baby.
This is just a back shot of the same baby.
I don't know the people that this dog belongs to. I was over in Montpelier, at the cemetery, cleaning up the grave of my best friend's son. There are so many mementos and flowers around the monument that the caretaker can't mow around it, so I moved everything, used the weed eater and raked then put everything back as much as where it was as possible. The dog lives directly across the road from the grave and as I was getting ready to leave, he had to come and check me out. I believe he's an Australian Sheppard. He's a beautiful dog!
Okay, I still don't have enough sense to go to bed at a decent time, but I'm going to get off here now and go take a shower and go to bed!
I'll start visiting tomorrow.

Lisa - so sorry to hear that you've been so down and going through a bad patch. Don't know if it helps - but we have missed your presence out here.
Beautiful, beautiful photos as always. you really should consider selling limited edition prints of some of them
Take the time to find your friends and yourself again. Be safe, take your time and you WILL find happiness again. much love xxx
It is really wonderful having you back. And I'm comforted to know that my night owl bloggy buddy hasn't switched to being a morning person yet!
Lisa, the window is gorgeous. You've created something that would appeal to lots of people. I love the photos of the old barns and using the window to frame is brilliant.
The bird photos are, as usual, perfect. I don't know how you do it! Our hummingbirds have left the yard and I don't know why. I hope they return before migration time. The rufus hummingbirds are my favorites.
It's good to put the past with Chuck behind you. You'll revise your profile narrative after the divorce is final? I guess you don't really have to wait...
I'm sorry Lisa, but I missed your last post about hubbie leaving. I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll definitely keep you in my prayers.
As usual, love the pics, especially the ones of the horses.
Take care of yourself.
Hi Lisa, your daylily could be Little Grapette, it is about that color.
Loved seeing your friends horses. I used to raise quarter horses.
What a cute baby robin. Looks like he's having a bad hair day;)

Once all of this is over and done, I'm sure you will start feeling better. Is it possible to put some of your wall hangings into a store or someplace where they can be viewed, and have a price on to sell them? Might be one way to make a little cash. Even if you ahve a flea market and your son could help you set your display up, some art show in the area, a gallery, someplace where you could display your photos framed to sell? I lvoe the old window with all the old barns, pretty clever way to display and I'm sure someone would be interested in buying either that one or another like it. Good to see you back.
What a great blog, I love the horses BB and Cat, beautiful! Your window project is wonderful too.
Stay strong x

Hey Lisa good to c u online, not that it isnt good to c u in person LOL but it is no fun not having a computer, kinda like not having a car and being stuck.

Dear Lisa ~~ Lovely to see you back and with lotas of great photos to share. The birds and the horses all
terrific. I hope you can find a job soon, as you must feel desperate.
Glad you enjoyed the jokes.
Take great care of yourself my
friend, Love and Hugs, Merle.
It doesn't look like you've let him take your photo joy away! So many beautiful images! I'm glad you're on the way back up!
Thank you to everybody for your kind words and concern. My photography and friends are the only things keeping me relatively sane right now.
Have a great weekend, everybody.

Keep your chin up, my friend! Things have to get better...they can't get any worse, right?
Your pics are beautiful, as always! And that window project with the old barn photos is gorgeous!!! You should make more up and sell them somewhere...flea market, maybe? Here ceramics are a big seller, too. People paint all year long and take their finsihed items to a large flea market not far from here, and that's how they make their living! If they can do, so can you!!!
I'll give you a call over the weekend...can you email me your number again??? It's here somewhere, but I forgot to jot it in my littl book. LOL
Cheer up now...you have many blogging friends pulling for you!!!
Love ya!
Nancy
Hi Lisa, Like the others have said, if possible, take your interest in photography and turn it into a little money that may lead to something bigger. Have you cosidered Etsy? You will have a world market to see your beautiful works that way. Etsy.com
That dog photo is amazing. I love it.
Lisa: I'm glad you are up and running. Loved your photos and your project was really neat.

Lisa, I have not been posting myself for quite a while and have missed your postings. So sad to hear your bad news. Happy to see you are getting back into photography and posting again! This window frame is just wonderful, I wish I was as artistic as you are. Judy and I are selling our house and moving before the end of this month so I will not be posting regularly for a while. We will be living in a caravan for a while. I wonder how that experience will work out. At least we are coming into our spring very soon.
