Hum Drum!

Good evening/morning. Not much of anything going on here today. The 4-H fair is in town, so naturally we are having crappy weather! They held it really early this year for some strange reason. It usually doesn't happen til late July to early to mid August. Not sure how the kids are supposed to display any of their gardening or canning achievements this early in the summer, but who am I to judge!
Only managed to take one picture today. Just before I left for work. A cute bunny rabbitt sitting outside my front door. I took the picture through the door window.

I received an e-mail yesterday alerting me of a job opening in a doctor's office. It is part of Cardinal Health System. The opening is in Upland, which is only about seven miles or so from here, near Taylor University. Everybody keep your fingers crossed that I at least get called for an interview! Working as a cashier may let me see people I haven't seen in years, but I have osteoarthritis in both hips and my weight isn't helping matters any. I'm in pain quite often, especially if I have to work a longer shift. I never realized how good I had it when I worked in the ob/gyn office in Orlando, until I started working at Save A Lot!

Well, since I didn't get to take any but one picture today, I'll have to dig into the archives!
Well, I really went into the archives for the picture above! That's me when I was sweet, innocent and cute. What in the world happened?! LOL! I ran across it while I was cleaning out my closet yesterday. The rose is from my neighbor's fence I took a couple of weeks ago.

I guess that's enough torture for one evening/morning! Sorry so boring! I'm trying to do better. I've never been much on conversation. I just love to take and display pictures!

See you tomorrow

Lisa

So many nice things to look at. And good luck on the job if that is what you want.

br>Thanks for your visit to my Brookville Daily Photo blog this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the baby rabbit eating the poppy leaves.

I also wrote a longer piece on my Better Blog Writing about my Mom and Dad. See if you like the writing style. It is popular among better blogs.

Last evening, it was almost dark, when one of the baby rabbits came up to our patio door and wanted in. I was flabbergasted but only took a picture and didn't leave him come in the house.

I wanted you to know I stopped-in to repay your visit and leave a you a comment.

I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought your photography was excellent on the rabbit who has all the looks of a buck or male. He looks tougher than wang leather.

Good afternoon. Another humid day and looks like more thunderstorms heading this way.

I know what you mean about the hips, I use to work full time in the Adult Education Office at our vocational School, I worked 2-10 M-Th and 8-4 on Fridays. Mostly I set at computer. When I retired, after one year I was bored, so I put my name in at local IGA Market here in town. Got hired in the Deli Dept. Well just waiting on customers was great, BUT some shifts, I had to sweep, the cooler, hallway and kitchen, then mop the same areas. By the time I got that done and the slicers torn down, washed and santized and put back together, it was all I could to to walk out to the car. The old hips and lower back. Then I had to take a leave, because they found a spot in the other breast, and I had to go through another lumpectomy and then radiation treatments as a precaution. Everytime I would go shopping they would ask, when do you think you'll be coming back. I finally had to tell them, I didn 't think I would be able to. For some reason this last time it seemed to take me a lot longer to bounce back, but then I was also ten years older then the first one I had done on the other breast. Some days I miss being able to get out of the house and talk with people, but most of the time I don't miss it that much. I wish there would be something I could do with my computer and make a little extra spending money, but hey, I would probably end up buying junk I don't need. LOL

Good luck with the job, hope you get an interview and the job, keeping my fingers crossed.

Lisa this is a place for you to come and say what is on your mind and maybe look on again later and read the comments and remember things you experienced and see how much you have improved. Just enjoy it, you will find that your readership will increase as you start visiting others too. It also helps to put things down in writing, they seem more real that way and a lot of the time not as bad as they felt at the time.
